Hi, I’m Karen, the one in the middle.
 
I am a pet lover!  I have been blessed with two wonderful companions, Baci (Bah-che, kisses in Italian) and Dolcetta (Dohl-chetta, sweetness in Italian).  The idea behind the company originated in 1998 inspired by the deep love for my pets and their distinct personalities, likes and dislikes, and many, many trips to the vet. As co-designers, the three of us in 2007 unanimously voted to name it after them - Baci and Dolcetta.  Shortly thereafter, at the age of twelve, Dolcetta passed.  Baci was going strong until she passed Dec. 29, 2008, at 13 ½ years.  They will be greatly missed.
